Objectives:

  • Explore the benefits for student learning from international exchange.
  • Expand radiography curriculum to include virtual global partnerships that encourage collaboration, intercultural awareness, building networks and research skills
  • Discuss various strategies to engage radiography students in international partnerships with and without student exchange in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia.

Objectives:

  • Examine strategies implemented to enhance the development of students’ professional communication skills with clinicians and patients after 1 year of online education.
  • Share our survey’s results on students' perceptions of communication and learning during COVID with continuous masking.
  • Compare the 2020 and 2021 thematic survey results from our students first clinical experience.
  • Highlight student tips and tricks to successfully transition from online learning to a clinical placement in a kinesthetically-oriented professional program.
