This interactive workshop will introduce ASCE 38 and its application in managing utility-related risks on major transportation projects. Participants will learn how to collect, document, and communicate subsurface utility information to support risk-informed design.

• Overview and purpose of  ASCE 38
• Application in project planning and design
• Data collection and quality levels
• Documentation and information exchange
