As the footprint of automated vehicles (AVs) continues to expand in North America in various forms, infrastructure owners and operators (IOOs) in Canada are considering what actions to take. The goal of this panel is to discuss the latest market trends in AV technology, what does “AV readiness” mean, what has been done to prepare Canada for AVs, IOO experiences to date, and how IOOs can effectively leverage AV technology to meet their mobility goals.
