This panel discussion will highlight initiatives that build relationships with Indigenous communities, promote economic development, build capacity, and fulfill the Duty to Consult. Panelists will discuss how transportation agencies can enhance reconciliation by building greater respect and understanding for Indigenous rights, histories, cultures, perspectives and priorities, in order to develop more collaborative approaches and integrate Indigenous approaches and interests into consultation.
