The expansion of active transportation facilities is an opportunity to improve universally accessible design for all users, particularly those with disabilities. The objective of this workshop is to increase practicitioners’ awareness of universally accessible design as it relates to active transportation, and to continue the dialogue on how to address potential issues. The workshop will include a panel discussion exploring situations in active transportation networks where universally accessible design should be considered, as well as group breakout discussions on design ideas and responses. Pre-registration required.

How to attend: If you’d like to attend the workshop but didn’t pre-register, show up at the room at the scheduled workshop time to check if space permits.
