Environment and Climate Change Canada conducts emissions
testing of a wide variety of vehicles, engines and equipment to confirm their
compliance with Canadian emissions standards for air pollutants and greenhouse
gas emissions. Participants in this tour will have an opportunity to view
ECCC’s emissions testing facilities, including the department’s vehicle
handling facility where vehicles are prepared for testing, and vehicle emission
test cells where dynamometer testing takes place. Vehicles currently being
tested, including cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs will also be on
display.
Requirement: Participants must bring a valid ID and international delegates must bring their passports.
How to attend: Visit the Info Booth to get your tour ticket as this is a newly added tour. 15 minutes before the tour’s start time, head to Level 1 and volunteers will be there to provide instructions.
