Description:

Cities are working to increase use of sustainable modes such as transit and active transportation, as well as enable flexwork, to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, address social equity, and promote road safety. Transportation Demand Management (TDM) measures to incentivize travel behaviour change are important in meeting these goals and support the use of sustainable transportation infrastructure investments.

This panel session aims to highlight TDM approaches being implemented in Canadian jurisdictions, quantity the benefits of TDM measures, and help jurisdictions determine the most effective TDM approachs for their context.
