Saturday, October 15, 2022, 9:00 am – 4:00pm

Registration: 9:00 am – 9:30 am
Northbury Hotel and Conference Centre, 50 Brady Street, Sudbury | 705-675-5602

Full-day Workshop 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

Janine MacDonald has 28 years of experience as a co-op manager and currently works at two Section 95 housing co-ops in Peterborough, Ont. Over the years, she has learned a thing or two about bad contractors, long-term planning, bat guano, leaking roofs and basements, and lobbying governments. For 10 years she lived in a co-op, and her kids still refer to it as "the best place we ever lived." She is happy to share her experiences with others so they might find their silver lining in the chaos.

Congratulations! You're on the board! You have taken on an interesting and challenging role, and one that can be one of the most rewarding experiences. The members of your housing co-op have put great trust in you. They are depending on you to maintain their homes as safe, comfortable and affordable places to live. Whether it is your first time on the board or you have been on the board before, there is always something new to learn. Come join Janine MacDonald for this full day board training workshop. Bring your workout gear!

NETWORKING LUNCH 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Join us for a buffet lunch and a chance to connect, chat and learn more from co-op members from across the region.

Registration Tips:
  • If you are completing the registration on behalf of another attendee, please answer all questions on the form with their personal information/selections, and not yours.
