Dr McKinnon completed education through Dalhousie University and University of Ottawa. He has been working as a nephrologist for Horizon Health Network in Saint John, NB since 2006. He has an interest in renal replacement therapy and complicated hypertension. Dr McKinnon has been involved in several research trials and projects within Horizon Health related to his interests. He is a father to 3 busy boys aged 17, 15 and 11.
